How to Develop a Story Idea: Round Two

April 9, 2016 by KWills

HI took part in round one of this free email course, and had a lot of fun testing out various story ideas. This five-day course doesn’t teach you to plan your novel, but it does let you find out, fairly quickly and painlessly, whether or not you have enough story to support a novel.

How to Develop and Test a Story Idea

Shaunta Grimes is testing ideas with these courses, and I can vouch for her being very receptive to feedback and polite suggestions. I mentioned an idea for improving one of her Facebook groups, and she implemented it within a day. So don’t be shy about telling her what works for you and what doesn’t.

That’s my rushed recommendation as I head into a busy Sunday. Next week will go better. For now: Nanoo, nanoo (ear twiddle, deep bow, fade to black)

Almost like I’m reading a live commentary around the stages an author goes through while working on his/her novel 🙂 Good luck!!!
